About me
I am a lawyer with a master’s degree in law and a developer with a bachelor’s degree in programming and system architecture, both from the University of Oslo.
Currently, I work at the Norwegian Communications Authority (NKOM), where I am working on establishing NKOM as the coordinating market surveillance authority under the EU AI Act. Previously, I worked on AI policy and regulation at the Norwegian Digitalization Agency.
I also have extensive experience in privacy, data protection, automation-friendly regulation, cloud technology, and information security.
Public speaking
I am an experienced public speaker, delivering numerous talks each year — from small group sessions for lawyers, public entities, and developers to keynotes and panel discussions at major conferences. I have also contributed to several podcasts.

Music
I play guitar in a band called Gete. In the summer of 2024, we proudly released an album titled Tynn Is.
We have been playing together for over 12 years, writing original music with lyrics in Norwegian, specifically in a traditional Mandal dialect. Our music blends pop with influences from Norwegian folk and blues.
In addition to playing guitar, I contribute as a co-vocalist and co-writer for many of our songs.
Developer
I hold a bachelor’s degree in programming and system architecture and have experience with languages and technologies such as Python, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, React, Next.js, SQL, and Tailwind.
While my primary focus is on AI policy and regulation, I use coding as both a learning tool and a hobby. It helps me explore emerging features and technologies while staying connected to my technical roots.
In a previous version of this website, I experimented with 3D design using Blender and Three.js to create an interactive 3D environment.
